What happens after 14 days?
Your card is charged for whatever you've configured, on the day the trial ends. We email you a reminder three days before. Cancel any time before then and nothing is charged — you'll still be able to export your data.
Do I have to buy all three modules?
No. CRM is the base — everything else attaches to contacts and deals, so it's required. Work and Money are optional and can be turned on or off from your billing screen. Take all three and the price drops from $46 to $39 per seat.
Can different people have different modules?
Yes, and this is where the per-seat pricing earns its keep. Your project manager can have CRM and Work without Money. Your bookkeeper can have CRM and Money without Work. You only pay for the modules each person is actually assigned.
What if I go over my calling and texting bundle?
Overage is billed on your next invoice at the standard per-minute and per-message rate, itemized line by line. Your bundle resets each renewal and doesn't roll over. You can move up a tier at any time and the change is prorated.
How long before I can send texts?
Plan on a few weeks. US carriers require every business to register a brand and a messaging campaign before texts will deliver, and approval runs through The Campaign Registry and then the carriers themselves. You can submit both from inside SHINES OS on day one — but the waiting period is the carriers', not ours. Everything else in the platform works immediately, and calling is available as soon as your number is provisioned.
Will this break my QuickBooks?
No. SHINES writes invoices, payments, and expenses into QuickBooks and treats QuickBooks as the source of truth for accounting. There's no competing ledger and no reconciliation UI fighting your accountant. If you disconnect us, your books are unaffected.
Can you move my data over from what I use now?
Yes. Contacts, accounts, deals, and open invoices come across from most common tools. Small migrations are included with an annual plan; larger ones are quoted by SHINES Web Studio. Talk to us before you sign up and we'll tell you honestly which one you are.
